Re-Elect 23 Years of Experience

Serving the Citizens of Radford since 1996

I began working in the Clerks office in January of 1996 as Chief DeputyClerk under Zelda Vaughn. I served as Chief Deputy for 13 years before becoming YOUR Clerk in 2009.

Technology and the law

In my time as your Clerk, the office has undergone many technological updates. As the Supreme Court and General Assembly of Virginia allow, we will keep Radford up to date in the use of computerization and tech.

Duties and responsibilities of the Clerk's Office

First established in Colonial Times, Virginia's Elected Clerks of Circuit Court  are  Constitutional Officers. The Clerk is Charged by the Code of Virginia with more than 800 individual responsibilities including court services, recorder of deeds, probate, custodian of court cases, public services and preservation of historic records.
